Barbara organises the first major event on Industrial Edge Computing in Spain

Edge Computing, a technology that brings data intelligence as close as possible to the source of the data, is becoming the most important enabler of digital transformation in the industrial world since the arrival of the cloud.

This technology that allows to capture, process and send large amount of data in real time, is enabling new use cases that will propel companies closer to their complete digital transformation.

In a horizon of uncertainty in terms of escalating costs Edge Computing is set to become a game - changer in the industrial revolution.

Once the debate about when to go digital is over, it is time to talk about how to go about it. Having digitized processes is no longer enough. Now it is about being as efficient as possible by implementing automated real -time processes.

With this bearing in mind at Barbara, we wanted to run the first major event on Industrial Edge in Spain: Industry at the Edge, where we will be showcasing real projects on Edge Computing across industries.

The event, to be held on October 25, is aimed at Executives, Digital Transformation Managers, Data Experts and Artificial Intelligence Developers in the Industry.

Among the speakers we have gathered 22 experts from companies such as Acciona, Enagás, Ferrovial, Iberdrola, Repsol, Roche, Telefónica, Stratio, IDC, Allread, BAI DATA, Fiware, Innovalia, International Data Spaces Association, Mytra, Oliver Wyman... and many more!

In a format of demos, round tables and masterclasses, attendees will discover the latest advancements in the sector (pioneering projects in the deployment of Artificial Intelligence at the Edge will be unveiled) and there will also be time for networking.
